The western countries are embarking on smearing campaign again.

If we use our common logic, we will know that there is no valid reason for President Assad to use chemical weapons to attack its people because Assad is winning the war in Syria with Russian's help.  Furthermore, the USA was planning to pull out of Syria as it was losing the Syria war against Putin.

I believe President Assad can wait for the USA to pull out first before taking over the whole Syria.  There is really no reason for Assad to embark on a chemical warfare.  Thus, this is another smearing plot by the USA to give it a legitimate reason to attack Syria with UK & France.

Baltic dry index - 1014

Today, Friday, April 13 2018, the Baltic Dry Index climbed by 21 points, reaching 1014, points.

Baltic Dry Index is compiled by the London-based Baltic Exchange and covers prices for transported cargo such as coal, grain and iron ore. The index is based on a daily survey of agents all over the world. Baltic Dry hit a temporary peak on May 20, 2008, when the index hit 11,793. The lowest level ever reached was on Wednesday the 10th of February 2016, when the index dropped to 290 points.

US rig count - 1008

HOUSTON — The number of rigs exploring for oil and natural gas in the U.S. increased by five this week to 1,008.

At this time a year ago there were 847 active rigs.

Houston oilfield services company Baker Hughes reported Friday that 815 rigs drilled for oil this week and 192 for gas. One was listed as miscellaneous.

Among major oil- and gas-producing states, Texas added three rigs, Oklahoma gained two while Colorado, Louisiana and Ohio each added one.

Kansas, New Mexico and West Virginia each lost one rig.

Alaska, Arkansas, California, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wyoming were unchanged.

The U.S. rig count peaked at 4,530 in 1981. It bottomed out in May of 2016 at 404.

This situation looks exactly like what happened to Iraq.

The US also claimed to have "proof" that Iraq possessed WMDs and attacked Iraq with the UK.  However, no WMDs were found in Iraq.
