US Q4 GDP 2024 update! - Part 3

Let's break down the latest US Q4 GDP 2024 estimate.  The US reported an estimate of 2.4% GDP growth for Q4 2024.

GDP growth = G + I + C + NE

Q4 GDP (1st estimate) = 0.42 + (-1.03) + 2.82 + 0.04 = 2.25 (2.3)

Q4 GDP (2nd estimate) = 0.49 + (-1.05) + 2.79 + 0.12 = 2.35 (2.3)

Q4 GDP (Final estimate) = 0.52 + (-1.03) + 2.7 + 0.26 = 2.45 (2.4)

The core PCE inflation was at 2.6% in Q4 2024 which indicated a stagnant inflation for Q4 2024.  However, this has become meaningless as Trump has increased his tariffs for 2025.
