The US business activity is at a 16-month low now.

As we can see from the above charts, the US inflation expectations are trending up significantly while the US consumer sentiment and business activity are trending down significantly.  These data don't bode well for the US economy because they indicate that the US will be facing a STAGFLATION in the future.
