The US inflation expectation is still at an elevated high.

The 1year inflation expectation (above 4%) and 5-year inflation expectation (above 3%) are still at an elevated high.  If the US Fed continues to ease it rates, the inflation expectations won't decline any further and consumer spendings will decline further.
