The latest US inflation report is meaningless. Why?

The US core inflation was still at an elevated high (above 3%) and it had never gone below 3% for the past few years.

However, this inflation report is meaningless because it has not accounted for the new Trump's tariffs.  The upcoming inflation report will be worse than this when the new tariffs permeate the real economy.
