Pfizer's vaccine won't protect you from getting infected but will prevent you from getting hospitalized.

The main goal of the covid vaccination is not to get hospitalized so that the healthcare system won't be overwhelmed and break down.  However, you will still be infected but will only suffer mild or no symptoms which are good enough.

It has become clear that the existing vaccinations are less effective against the B1351 variant and the US pharmaceutical companies are starting to create another new vaccine which they call the covid booster.

However, this new vaccine will take at least a few months to produce.

The latest bad news is that the B1351 variant has entered the US and it will spread like fire because the Americans don't like to wear masks and don't do social distancing.
