China has started its 2nd generation covid vaccine in New Zealand.

China knows that all the existing vaccines will become ineffective against the variants.  Therefore, it has developed a 2nd generation vaccine to fight off the variants.

It is currently doing a clinical trial in NZ.  Hopefully, this will be more effective than all the existing vaccines.

Delta variant is infecting fully vaccinated people in Israel.

Israel is using Pfizer vaccines for its people but the delta variant is infecting fully vaccinated Israelis now.  Israel was safe previously because it managed to keep the delta variant at bay.  The recent cases showed that about 50% of vaccinated people were infected.

Israel is one of the highest vaccinated countries but its fully vaccinated residents are getting infected now.
