US visa application for officials to attend Winter Olympics! Hahaha!

The US declared that it would boycott Beijing's winter Olympics recently.  However, the US has just applied VISAs for its officials to attend the Olympics.  What a joke!

How is the US going to account for others that follow the boycott?  Hahaha!

Austria is the next country to offer 4th booster after Israel.

Another country, Austria, will be offering 4th booster to its citizens.  It is looking increasingly likely that the full vaccination status will change to 4 vaccine doses instead of 3 doses in 2022.

Sinovac shot gives no shield for Omicron? - Part 2

Another HK study revealed that 3 Sinovac doses failed to protect against omicron.  This is the 2nd HK study to focus on neutralizing antibodies produced by the vaccines.

Does the amount of neutralizing antibodies matter?

It doesn't matter now.  Why?  Let's take a look.

A recent peer-reviewed scientific manuscript proved that omicron could escape the neutralizing antibodies.  Therefore, we can no longer depend on our antibodies to destroy the omicron virus.  We have to rely on other immunities such as T-Cell to destroy the omicron virus.  In other words, we are having 1 less level of protection when we're facing omicron.  Thus, the higher or lower amount of neutralizing antibodies won't matter much in the fight against omicron.

Furthermore, most monoclonal antibody treatments also fail against omicron.
