There are 764 marbles to be shared among 4 boys : a, b, c and d. If a has 20 marbles lesser, b has 30 marbles more, c has to halve his marbles and d has to double his marbles,  all the boys will have equal marbles at the end. How many marbles does each boy have initially?

This is an important milestone for Russia as this pipeline will allow Russia to connect to Europe for its gas sale and also bypass Ukraine which is the other alternative.  Ukraine will suffer economically as it is being alienated by Russia when Russia stops supplying cheap gas.

Baltic dry index - 921

Today, Friday, October 07 2016, the Baltic Dry Index climbed by 6 points, reaching 921 points.

Baltic Dry Index is compiled by the London-based Baltic Exchange and covers prices for transported cargo such as coal, grain and iron ore. The index is based on a daily survey of agents all over the world. Baltic Dry hit a temporary peak on May 20, 2008, when the index hit 11,793. The lowest level ever reached was on Wednesday the 10th of February 2016, when the index dropped to 290 points.

US rig count - 524

HOUSTON (AP) — The number of rigs exploring for oil and natural gas in the U.S. increased by two this week to 524.

A year ago, 795 rigs were active. Depressed energy prices have sharply curtailed oil and gas exploration.

Houston oilfield services company Baker Hughes Inc. said Friday that 428 rigs sought oil and 94 explored for natural gas this week. Two were listed as miscellaneous.

Among major oil- and gas-producing states, Oklahoma and Texas gained two rigs each while Alaska, Louisiana and Pennsylvania were up one apiece.

Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and West Virginia each declined by one.

Arkansas, California, Kansas, North Dakota, Ohio and Wyoming were unchanged.

The U.S. rig count peaked at 4,530 in 1981. It bottomed out in May at 404.

Poor turnout at Shanghai Disneyland for the golden week holiday in China.

Shanghai Disneyland is the first retail victim of the golden week holiday in China.  The visitorship has dropped so much that it takes only an average of about 5-10mins to queue for every activity in Disneyland.

Why is this phenomenon happening so fast when Shanghai Disneyland had just opened a few months ago?

Is the pricing too high? It is a known fact that the price is about 20% cheaper than HK.

Is anti-American sentiment brewing in China that Chinese are avoiding the theme park?
