TTIP which is Europe version of TPP is dead!

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/business/international/us-eu-ttip-trade-deal-frozen-after-trump-vote-commissioner/3282184.html

Japan approved TPP but USA suspended TPP. What a joke!

TPP was spearheaded by USA and USA was a major partner in TPP.  Without USA, TPP is just a worthless piece of paper.  However, Japan insisted in passing TPP without USA.  This goes to show how helpless is Japan in managing its economy and going against China as TPP excludes China.

US rig count - 568

HOUSTON (AP) -- The number of rigs exploring for oil and natural gas in the U.S. decreased by one this week to 568.
A year ago, 767 rigs were active. Depressed energy prices have sharply curtailed oil and gas exploration.
Houston oilfield services company Baker Hughes Inc. said Friday that 452 rigs sought oil and 115 explored for natural gas this week. One was listed as miscellaneous.
Among major oil- and gas-producing states, Texas gained six rigs and Ohio was up by one.
Alaska and North Dakota each declined by two. New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Utah each lost one.
Arkansas, California, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, West Virginia and Wyoming were unchanged.
The U.S. rig count peaked at 4,530 in 1981. It bottomed out in May at 404.

Please vote on our Malay reserved president poll!

Let's do a survey to find out what Singaporeans think about our Malay reserved president issue.

Our US presidential election poll.

How did the US news media get the presidential election so wrong?

Obviously the news media supported Hillary as her poll rating was higher than trump prior to the election.

However, we can see that US citizens place importance on integrity above all things from this election.  Trump definitely has more integrity than Hillary.

Hillary’s dubious record:
Her wealth buildup was questionable because she used her political position to gain wealth especially from using her Clinton’s foundation.

Her email scandal was questionable but was pardoned by FBI.  I must say FBI was too efficient in her investigation.  I wonder this efficiency is reserved for her only or it is across the board.

Her health was also questionable.

Last but not the least, Hillary has major trust issue in USA as close to 70% of US citizens don’t trust her and see her as a trustworthy person.  Thus, it is not surprising that she lost the election.

Hillary Clinton is in trouble after Trump won the presidency!

Republican won big this time as it won the US house, US senate and also the US presidency.  Will Trump reinvestigate Hillary's wrongdoings?  Let's see!

Republican has won the US house.

Let's see who will win the US senate and US presidential election.

I voted for Trump in our own poll.

Our SG president is reserved for malay candidates next year.

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/presidential-election-2017-will-be-reserved-for-073547665.html

Is SG president still a democratic and people elected president?  If a position is specifically reserved for a specific race candidate, can we still call it a people elected president since we can only vote for a malay president?

President park is willing to relinquish her power in South Korea!

As indicated in my previous post, president park was highly likely to step down due to her scandal.  She has proposed to relinquish some powers if a PM is approved in parliament.  This is her tactic to remain as president but I don't think the opposition will approve it.  Let's wait to see how things unfold in SK.  There is news that she might be indicted as situation develops.
