Obama had certified that Wuhan P4 Lab was a commercial lab by granting the Wuhan lab a US$3.7m grant. This commercial lab was working with the US in coronavirus research.
We had stated previously that Wuhan P4 lab was a commercial lab and was open to foreign and local scientific researches.

The US government would not give a grant to any military or state-backed lab. Therefore, the US would make a thorough background check on any sensitive recipient before giving any grant.
