The high mortgage rate will impact the US property market (Residential and Commercial). The US residential property loan can be locked in for a long period but not for commercial property loan. Thus, there will be a reduction in new residential mortgage loans and many existing commercial property loans will become non-performance loans when they're up for loan refinance. Overall, the US property market is in a dicey position now.
