Any businessman can attend China International Import Export Expo (CIEE) and it is not a big deal.  Therefore, the Australian trade minister doesn't need to extol this commercial trip to China.

Since Australia bans China 5G technology, I don't see why the China government official should grant him an official meeting.

It's best that the Australian trade minister goes back to Australia empty-handed so that Australia can do some introspection on how to improve the Aus-Sino relationship.
