It seemed that nothing was concluded at the US-China trade talk. No wonder neither country made any formal announcement on the trade deal after the trade talk.
The stock investors were too optimistic over the trade talk because of Trump's tweets and plunged into the stock markets with some zest. Now, profit-taking is starting to take place after the no-deal talk.

There was a time lapse in releasing any formal statement after the trade talk because both sides were trying to sugar-coat their own statements from this no-deal trade talk.
