Moody's has downgraded Tesla because Tesla is facing serious cashflow problems. It is a common knowledge that negative cashflow will crumble a company and Tesla will not escape from this doomsday scenario.
Tesla is losing about $700m per quarter now and only has enough money to last another quarter. Tesla electric car sales are also not doing well. With limited sales and a money-burning project, this company is doomed.
