How a terrorist could become a country leader and hero?

It is simply ridiculous that G7 can accept a terrorist to be Syria leader without demanding a democratic election and it is alright to work with a terrorist if he is standing with the west.

The west had demanded that Assad held elections in Syria during his reign.  When Assad won the elections with over 90% votes, the west alleged that the elections were rigged.

The US has a $10m bounty on the new Syrian leader (terrorist) but he will still be hailed as a country leader and hero, just like Ukrainian Zelensky, as long as he is working for the US interest.
