1-year inflation expectations: 6.7% (A big spike!)

The 5-year inflation expectations have been trending up.

However, the consumer sentiment (chart below) has been trending down.

The declining consumer sentiment will definitely compel the consumers to cut back on their spendings which will affect the economic growth in the US.  Furthermore, the recent high tariffs will cause inflation to spike in the US.
