USA economy is not as resilient as thought.

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/us-growth-hits-3-low-0-7-trumps-132946785.html

US growth is faltering but its contribution is not as huge as China.  Therefore, it's more important to monitor China economic growth.

Conflict of interest between USA & Japan

https://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/japan-not-concessions-two-way-trade-talks-u-020810258--business.html

USA president and Japan PM are supported by farmers and it's very difficult to back down on either side on agricultural trades because both will lose political powers if they do not protect their own farming industries.

We foresee Japan to be the greater loser as Japan's economic power is nowhere near USA's.

LOL! Trump is demanding protection fee from South Korea.

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/seoul-rejects-trump-demand-pays-missile-system-042006455.html

Guess what! South Korea is not paying for THAAD and THAAD will be kicked out of SK after the tension subsides in North Korea peninsula.

Nobody will pay for a useless defence system as it cannot defend against low flying rockets.

Something is seriously wrong with Trump's grandeur plan.

http://www.latimes.com/politics/washington/la-na-essential-washington-updates-trump-wants-to-cut-business-rate-to-15-1493215127-htmlstory.html

How is he going to plug the budget deficit that he's creating with all the fiscal spending, military expansion and corporate tax cut? Money doesn't just drop from the sky unless he's planning to print money again.

How can the government continue to finance welfare benefits such as unemployment claims, medicare and so on with lesser tax receipts?

SGX is finding increasingly hard to attract companies to list.

https://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/more-chinese-firms-saying-goodbye-044700267.html

SGX is nothing compared to HKEX as HKEX is 10x bigger than SGX.  SGX can only attract mid-size and small companies to come to list on SGX.

When China companies don't come to SG, SG stock valuations will fall because of illiquidity.

North Korean missiles were made from UK components.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4436180/Why-UK-parts-turning-Korean-missiles.html

UK is trying to exonerate itself from North Korean missiles now like what it did when UK approved export of nerve gas chemical to Syria.

NASA captured UFO on cam in space again.

US space station captured an UFO which could go invisible.

Thailand has bought China military arsenal.

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/thai-junta-defends-cheap-393-mn-chinese-sub-041435682.html

Thailand and China have formed military pact through these purchases as the thais will be trained by the chinese.

The Thais sure know how to diversify their weaponry and not rely just on USA.  This is definitely a good strategic move as Thailand won't be restricted by one nation.

China naval military prowess.

China has certainly improved by leaps and bounds and cannot be underestimated.

NASA found tree stump on mars.

This is another amazing discovery after finding some big insects crawling out from crevices on mars.

China is trying to erode Singapore's financial hub.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-04-12/chinese-backers-said-to-plan-derivatives-exchange-in-singapore

The one-belt-one-road initiatives will definitely erode Singapore's sea hub status and this will diminish our port annual handling volumes.  China is trying to erode our financial hub status by setting up an asia pacific exchange now.  Our stock exchange is not doing well lately with many delistings and SGX has difficulty in attracting big companies to list in Singapore.  SGX will be marginalised with this upcoming China's asia exchange.

Trump has enraged South Korea.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4431840/AP-Explains-How-single-Trump-sentence-enraged-South-Korea.html

Factually speaking, South Korea did pay tributes to China for a long period of time.  However, this antagonization is not about history but more for political reason.

South Korea is making a big fuss because it is afraid to be sold out by USA.  Trump is offending SK deliberately because he knows the next SK president may not want to install THAAD.  This incident may actually force SK to accept the THAAD installation because SK doesn't want to be sold out.
