Continual military exercises with South Korea are definitely unfriendly gestures against North Korea especially prior to the Trump-Kim summit in Singapore. This is a common sense thing but Trump doesn't get it. No wonder Kim visited China before the summit to get some support and hoped that President Xi would be present during the summit.
Let's see how this will pan out.
