The U.S. Rig Count is up 149 rigs from last year's count of 931, with oil rigs up 136 and gas rigs up 13. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 1 rig to 24 and up 5 rigs year-over-year. The Canada Rig Count is down 43 rigs from last week to 131, with oil rigs down 37 to 58 and gas rigs down 6 to 73. The Canada Rig Count is down 79 rigs from last year's count of 210, with oil rigs down 62 and gas rigs down 17.
