SIA had no safety concern for its passengers.

It was sad to see that our national carrier (SIA-Silkair) had no safety concern for its passengers until our CAAS took action to ban Boeing 737-Max.

Kudos to CAAS and Shame on SIA!

Singapore, Australia, South Korea, Indonesia, India, China have banned Boeing 737-Max.

If any airliner still operates Boeing 737-Max, it won't be able to fly to these countries.

Look like SIA-Silkair put profitability above safety. It should have banned Boeing 737-Max first before being forced to comply with CAAS's ruling.

Travellers are complaining that CAAS's ban comes too slow. However, it is still better than SIA-Silkair's decision to continue to operate prior to the ban.
