There is one big consideration factor, the channel to come Singapore is only by air whereas there are multiple ways to enter Hongkong from China. Perhaps they have more confident in our government efforts in tracing and containing compared to Hongkong.

SG is getting famous for the wrong reason.
The US will only care for itself. The US will definitely suspend flights to SG when SG becomes a transmission hub.
HK has 18 cases so far but SG has 24 cases.
