WHO has just brushed aside IHU as a threat despite the variant having 46 mutations that are more than the existing omicron (32 mutations).  Let's take a look at the abstract description.

IHU contains the infectious elements of omicron but it is not deemed as a threat whereas omicron is classified as a variant of concern (VOC).  VOC is a level 2 virus alert under WHO but IHU is not even classified as a variant of interest (level 1 virus alert) despite having more mutations than omicron.

What is WHO doing? *Puzzled*
