The US Fed has maintained its status quo again in March 2024. What has changed?

The latest dot plot chart showed that FED would reduce its rate to 4.6% by the end of 2024 which signified 3 rate cuts.

However, the Core PCE inflation projection for 2024 would rise to 2.6% from 2.4% (December projection).
