US core PPI had increased by 0.4% in June 2024.

With the latest core PPI at 0.4% in June 2024, it is unlikely that the core inflation will fall to 2% for the year 2024.

Just like we've stated previously, we would need to wait for 2-3 months of inflation data to ascertain the September FOMC move.
