This comes as a great news for South Korea because SK is worried about a Korean Peninsula war as its citizens will suffer the most, most notably, massive deaths if NK nukes Seoul. It is the USA that is eager to have a Korean Peninsula war. SK is regretting its decision to get the USA's involvement now and is relying on China to defuse the situation.
