Hot news! Sinovac vaccine works on UK and South African variants.

Brazil institute has just announced that the Sinovac vaccine is effective against the UK and South African variants.

This is a major blow to the US and UK vaccines because Brazil is well-known to be pro-US.

Unknown said...: Infection rates & deaths in many countries have been dropping like a rock.

Pandemic will be effectively over in developed countries by May 2021. Only localised outbreaks here & there. Developed markets stocks have already gone up strongly in the last few months in anticipation, together with large stimulus effect.

Individual developing countries will still face epidemic till 4Q 2021 or 1Q 2022. But emerging market stocks will go up strongly many months before that as investors anticipate in advance.

Covid started with a bang. It will fade out with a whimper. Just like the Spanish flu.; February 19, 2021 at 7:04 AM
