The US falsely accused China of using forced labour and slaves of more than half a million to harvest cotton (by hands) in Xinjiang. The accusation is completely false and can be easily refuted by this video.
Machinery is used to harvest cotton in Xinjiang many years ago because it is more productive and also cheaper. However, some ill-intentioned people paid Uyghurs to take pictures in the cotton field so that they could use the pictures to smear China (See below).
The US had used this ruse before by using a bogus HK virologist.
Xinjiang's GDP was growing at 7.2% annually before the pandemic and it wouldn't have achieved a high growth annually with such labourers. I'm surprised that there was no mass exodus of Uyghurs under such "harsh working" conditions.
If using machinery to harvest crops is considered forced labour, then the US also uses a lot of forced labour because it uses machinery too.

I'm puzzled about something here.
My viewers are interested in Xinjiang's cotton post but not Xinjiang's genocide post. Xinjiang's cotton post is on my top 10 popular postings in a very short time but not the genocide post.
I wonder why???

China BCI has released a new statement to state that there is no forced labour in Xinjiang but China citizens are still not appeased. BCI is stupid to use falsehoods to smear China and is reaping its sows now.
