Well, we can only believe in what the US is doing and not what the US is saying.
Judging from the above situations, we don't see any peace deal coming soon.

The Iran war situation report. - Part 58
Despite the current ceasefire status, the Iran war looks like it is resuming with small battles going on.
Iran had shot down another MQ-9A reaper.
There were also some military strikes conducted by both sides (Iran and US).
The US has been saying that a peace deal between the US and iran is nearing to a close. What's the veracity?
