I've been trying to figure out the real reason behind the FED emergency cut because the current economic situation doesn't warrant it as stated in my previous post.

However, I've discovered that the US defense department has projected a pandemic within 30 days. I believe this pronouncement scares the FED so greatly that it must act upon it by doing an inter-meeting interest rate cut as the time is running out.
